Ryan Christie, CPT., owner of Geneva Fitness, has combined his participation in competitive sports with his global travels and education to create a universal health and fitness program especially well suited for any and all individuals. “Wherever they currently are in their health and fitness picture, they can succeed in achieving optimal health and wellness, one step at a time – the needs of the human body are the very foundation of our program, creating a universally successful health and fitness program,” says Ryan.

Ryan is a qualified Master trainer with a Certificate III and IV in Fitness. He graduated Summa Cum Laude from Mesa State College in Grand Junction, Colorado with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology/Anthropology.

As a sports coach for children from 2003 - 2006, Ryan emphasized to the kids not only the importance of developing proper skills and body control but also the importance of a good work ethic, sportsmanship, and how to effectively work in a group/ team setting.

This group/teamwork concept along with his coaching was so well received that since 2006 Ryan has been working with small groups of every day individuals to help them reach their health and fitness goals in the quickest and most efficient way possible.

Ryan explains, “My total approach to fitness involves the components of strength, endurance, flexibility, coordination/agility, power and finally a positive mental attitude, combined with proper nutrition. This total approach has helped my clients reach their health and fitness goals thus improving their quality of life.” When using a small group setting, he is able to capitalize on the camaraderie and morale boosting power of peer support for adherence. Adherence to action is the hallmark of measurably higher return on investment for any healthy lifestyle change.

Employees from Cadbury, in Rolle, Switzerland, have directly benefited from Ryan’s fitness boot camps through weight loss, strength gains, better posture, and an overall greater sense of well-being. It is Ryan’s hope that many more companies like Cadbury will look to filling the needs of their company bottom line and their employees health by activating this universal program on-site in their workplace.

Healthy lifestyle requires awareness first, education second, and finally action. Without action, nothing much changes. Geneva Fitness is uniquely situated to provide the regular exercise and proper nutrition the human body needs, seamlessly integrated into the corporate and public environment.
